I like this one too - I see him wearing a wild yellow jacket, pale bluish skin - and I agree with Roger Knightly - very Burtonesque!
Cool, can't wait to see how he turns out! |

scary/creepy/bluish skin? exactly what im going for!
glad its passing out the feeling. worked some more on it, threw some soft details on his head and cloth piece. not going for the over detailed 3d look, something soft to go with the texture. probably coming back to detail some more after the texture is painted and I have a clearer idea of what i wanna do with this fellow. next, hands pants and remaining stuff. oh btw, thanks for the feedback guys!

Hey there cool funny guy
![]() I think he looked nice when he was smooth and had a cartoony look. Ok if you're taking him in a different direction though.

Well - I think that doesn´t make sense any longer. He´s becoming so old so fast. Tomorrow you can bury him;-)
No - just kidding. It took a change I was not expecting and now I´m curious what´ll come next. Really amazing modeling. Cheers P |

He is looking good and creepy!
Will he have nasty, stained and yellowing teeth? Nice style to this one so far! |

One thing that, I think, would really set off a piece like this, is ridiculously detailed shoes...
Laces, details, loop holes, proper soles, the lot. Could just make a really nice little piece that observant people notice. I just like odd little things like that. Tiny feet being super detailed would be ace ![]() Oh, and about the teeth, you could probably spare to make them even more yellow, in my oppinion And the whole face generally just slightly more saturated... The ears could also use a little more detail. But I gotta say, I only said so much cos I'm actually really liking him. Little details like him being a bit crossed eyed and such are nice. You could take that even further and give him a slightly lazy eye ![]() Last edited by BJMonkey; 03-17-2008 at 05:25 PM. |

I REALLY like the bit of beard stubble, and the bags under the eyes!
He is looking SO good! Oh, and I agree with bjmonkey - the teeth could be a bit yellower yet - not quite disgusting enough for me! =) |

thanks guys, for the great feedback. made the teeth even more rotten like and saturated the skin just a little, i wanna stay at the almost dead skin.
adjusted some parts of the head model, and also made him non symmetrical. ill be working on the shoes and ears, give them some more detail. like the idea for exaggerated detail on the shoes even though its so freaking small. well here it is; ![]()

hey guys,
been freaking busy finishing a short movie, working like crazy, and as usual no time for personal work. now ill be having some "softer" days, so ill try to finish this sketch i've done and want to pass to the 3d world of existence. drawing i did after thinking of the incredible way that ppl have, changing, adapting, and at the end, be nothing unique. to be lost and completely equal, to all around. sorry for the concept quality, took the picture with my cell phone. ![]() and after 1 hour of playing around and getting used to silo again ![]() ill be posting the progress of the work, and if everything goes well, i hope to have this finish by the end of 2013! hahaha cya
