looks good. look at the attachment I sketched over some of the spots that dont look right to me. the lines sort of redefine the new location. the brow look to big and high. cheeks are to far out from the front etc. the cheek area arounf the inner eye should be flat and sort of indented. the cheekbone should not rap around to the front the way you have it.

thanks timo.
here's a new piece. it was a colaborative effort to get this one. we started a sculpt jam at work. 4 people. each session is limited to 20min. we all use the same base mesh (very low poly). on day 1 each one starts a bust. next day you give the model to the person beside you. on the 5th session you get the model you started back to finish it, after everyone else had done work on it. 2 were using silo, and 2 Z3. OBJ was used as the bridge between apps. the whole thing made me realize how much we'd need something like Z3's 'reconstruct subdiv' in silo it's been a lot of fun. i'll link to other sculpts when the friend who organized the jam posts them. this is the model i had started and finished (that last session was more than 20 minutes, polished it at home) ![]() |

I'm up for trying to get a jam of some sort going.
We need to solve one issue: How do we keep the model moving and ensuring that people either get their turn in on time, or are co-ordinated together? I have a couple of ideas, but I will start a different thread for the discussion.

Inspiring work!!
Excellent models 3dee, very inspiring especially to a novice like myself. My favourite so far is the previous post as it reminds me of someone i know.
You state that this was created by modifying chads base? is this base available for everyone to use? |

thanks lovisx. i'm not happy with the eyes. i'm probably going to rework the whole area when i get a chance. i might have to go down to the base and delete some loops, it looks too much like the base.
ryanblakey | here's chad's base, and a modeified version (added some loops on the ears and eyes). both are silo2 SIB files with symmetry on. have fun. ChadHamelet_basehead_final_SIB-Sym.zip ChadHamelet_basehead_final_SIB-Sym_MOD.zip |

there's one thing about your eyes, that kinda gets to me. On the outter corners of the eye were the eyelid meets the eyebrow... your eye lid has a large plane of space and the eyebrow is above it. But if you look at some eye reference... the eye brow comes down and meets the outer edge of the eye... usually.
