Some of my work
Hi to all
I'm using Silo since the very first version. And since then no other app could ever convince me to change, even though it's still a bit too buggy. Besides Silo i'm using Cinema4d for all rendering tasks. So, I just wanted show some of my work here, the rest and also bigger resolutions you can find on my website. www.muhvieh.ch.vu I'd appreciate it, if you have some critique, no matter if good or bad...give it to me, I can take it... :-) greetz daniel |

Hi Daniel.
Lots of fun stuff. Good modelling, good rendering and neat ideas. Swiss precision. I like "Grandpa Mario" the best. Thanks for sharing. Cheers P. |

Really great stuff.
Are you using Cinema4d to clean up the UV maps for the mechanical and product rendering on your site, or is it all Silo? <]=) |

Beautiful models and renders. I like the economical style and rich colours.

thanks for watching, guys.
@ JackjAxe til now I'm not a big fan of the UV tools in silo, due the lacking of the traditional projections. So the UVs are all applied in C4d. It seems to be almost a shame, that in times of all these advanced projection algorithms I'm using simple plane mapping the most... ;-) @ dasch lol, economical is one way to descibe it... ps: I know, you should never apologize for your language, but since this is one of the first posts here, I'll do it... Sorry for my english ;-) |

Thanks mooses. :]
I've been using Silo to set up the initial UVs, but then going into Maya and cleaning them up for textures that can't be distorted and this takes hours. Oo I'm hoping for a magic bullet I guess. <]=) |

Love the Mario and Toadstool pieces. The rest are great too but those two had me out of my chair.

The models are great but the lighting makes them shine as well!
